FirmwareUpdate with MacOS

Hi, I want to make a Firmware-Update;

but I don't have a Windows-Computer, just only MacOs.

Is it - hand how - is it possible to make a Update?

Re: FirmwareUpdate with MacOS

The manual that @TheEther linked to seems to be explains this, but maybe it is a little unlcear from those instructions in the manual.

1. Download the firmware file first from support.netgear.com
2. Navigate to: "Maintenance" --> "Download" --> and select "HTTP" button.
3. A "Browse" button should appear where you can browse to the file you just downloaded on your computer and select it.

Hi,

What type of switch do you have?

You can upgrade the firmware via TFTP as well as by browser.  Consult the manual.

Re: FirmwareUpdate with MacOS

Are you able to log into the switch with a browser? If you've never logged in, then the default address is 192.168.0.239. You may need to change the IP address on your Mac to a suitable one in order to log in. The manual also describes how to do this.

Here is a different manual but it should be similar:
