GS510TP SNMP/PING timeouts
I have had two GS510TP switches in place since last summer. I was monitoring them via PING without so much as a peep from either of them. Last week, the PING monitoring started throwing errors. Delayed, or lost packets etc. I would ping the switch and get significant delays 200ms+, though when I pinged devices downstream I recieved proper times etc.
I researched the forums and found that PING is not a priority for these switches and that SNMP is better. So I changed both switches over to SNMPv2 monitoring. I still get a few "connection lost" errors.
I power cycled one of them just to see if there was any change and there hasn't been. I'm running the latest firmware (have been since deployment!) 188.8.131.52 and can't seem to be able to find much on this.
