GS724T unable to read the MAC address using SNMP

I connect a device with a MAC on port 1 of the switch. Normally I used a MIB library called BRIDGE-MIB that if I put the OID to find the port followed by the MAC I am looking for, in decimal, the switch would respond with the port to which the MAC was connected.
The problem is that this does not work for me. If I connect via webserver, I see the MAC connected. There is a list of compatible MIBs, and the BRIDGE-MIB is not in the list.
I do not know if anyone knows which library of the compatible MIBs can find the MAC , or how I can do it so that the BRIDGE-MIB library works.
I communicate with the switch through a Kepware SNMP driver.

Finally I solved with the following OID:
1.3.6.1.2.1.17.7.1.2.2.1.2.1.0.64.157.62.182.191
where 0.64.157.62.182.191 is the MAC address of my device.
Thanks for your help.

Re: GS724T unable to read the MAC address using SNMP
Hi @Cristinasust,
Welcome to the community! 🙂
What is the exact model of the GS724T switch you have? Also, what is the current firmware version of it?
If ever you have the GS724Tv4 switch, it latest firmware version is v6.3.1.19 that can be downloaded here and its corresponding MIB v6.3.1.19 can be downloaded here.
Also, you may want to try using the NMS300 which is a network management software by NETGEAR to isolate the problem. You can download its latest version 1.6.0.3 here and its documentation here.

Dear DaneA,
Yes, I have this version and this firmware. I have also the MIB libraries, but I don't know wich one to use if i want to read the MAC address.
Is it necessary the software that you mentioned?
Thank you,
Cristina
