Prosafe Plus Configuration Utility - HTTP request error

- I Fixed it!!! :): The problem seemed to be caused by the 'Internet Connection Sharing Service (ICS)'.
Some how I have been configuring this service on my laptop. When I stop this service, the utility works again. Because I do not need this service most of the time I changed the startup mode of this service to manual.
I had the same problem. My OS is Windows 8. Set the exe for the utility to Windows 7 compatibility. Works now.

Hi,
I have the same error, NetGearServer.exe crashes when opening the utiliy (v2.3.19).
I could fix it by disabling all the other NICs (22 adapters and 10 teams).
Would be nice if this issue would be fixed by Netgear...
