Replacing fans in Netgear GS724TPv2
Firstly Hello to all forum members!
Secondly I would like to replace the 2 fans in my Netgear GS724TPv2 Smart Managed PoE Switch with some quieter ones.
Can anyone recommend some quieter than standard and reliable replacement fans ?
For information I have tried both of the Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX fans in both 10mm depth and 20mm depth 12volt fans but these do not work for some reason. Unless of course someone has a solution/fix for getting these working.
Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

- Be aware that you are loosing any lifetime warranty on your switches.
- Less noise is achieved typically by [much] lower fan tip speed, read from lower rotational speed. The replacement fan must come with the same speed regulation (voltage or pulse width modulation) and provide a tach signal - so exact similar specs [including rotation speed] is required to make the switch fan regulation and monitoring happy.
