Can anyone confirm if the shared SFP+ ports on the XS724EM (and simliar) behave as normal ports? ie. Can be configured with link aggregation when connected to a storage server? I am fairly confident they will, but Netgear keep listing these as 'uplink' ports and defining them as core switch connectivity specifically.

On the XS724EM, the SFP+ ports are shared with the 10G-BASE-T ports #23 and #24 - there is no limitation or any kind of "default" for a pure uplink usage. Similar on the other XS7xxE or the XS7xxT models for example.
