XS728T LAG group won't go "UP" between 2 switches LACP
I am having issues getting the LAG group active on 2 bridged XS728T ProSAFE switches connected to a QNAP TVS-EC1580MU-SAS with QTS ver. 4.3.5. Only one switch will show the LAG as UP.
Here are the details:
Software version of XS728T’s: 22.214.171.124
2 ports from the QNAP are trunked as 802.3ad, with one port from each 10GbE NIC going to each Netgear switch.
Netgear switches are bridged over SFP port 28.
The LAG group is a member of VLAN 8 as Tag All. Spanning tree is turned off on the LAG group.
I am I missing something in my configuration, or is LACP spanning not supported for this model?
Re: XS728T LAG group won't go "UP" between 2 switches LACP
These are not stacking switches, so more than unlikely a LAG group can span over two switches.
Should be kind of obvious as only local ports of each switch can be selected to participate in the port channel, isn't it? 8-)
