I'm looking to purchase a XS748T for my office. Can anyone confirm that the XS748T supports IEEE 1588-2008 (PTP v2)? I couldn't find anything in the manual about this.

Only NETGEAR M4300 Switch Series offers PTPv2 TC E2E with some restrictions explained in the datasheet on page 10 (features highlights) and then page 46 (tech specs).
You will find some information on this other thread as well.
In reading the restrictions in the M4300 datasheet, you will see that 48-port 10G models, such as the M4300-48X (ordering SKU number XSM4348CS-100NES) equivalent of the XS748T can't support PTP. I can help you explore which other models could be of interest for your new setup in the M4300 line. Surely the M4300-96X could be a great option with room for expansion, you can design your very own here: https://www.netgear.com/96x-config
