I just bought a GS105Ev2 managed switch to do VLAN tagging as required for my Centurylink 1Gbps fiber connection, after reading several accounts about people who used this switch for this purpose.
Some examples: https://wimsworld.wordpress.com/2018/02/15/vlan-tagging-for-centurylink/ , https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r31043915-How-to-almost-use-any-router-with-CenturyLink-s-1-Gig-Int...
However, the current firmware's advanced VLAN configuration page only allows selection of VLAN IDs 1-5, and there's no way to use the VLAN ID 201 that's required for Centurylink fiber connections.
I updated to firmware version 1.6.0.4 after not being able to enter VLAN ID 201, but it didn't help.
I've tried submitting the form with VLAN_ID set to 201 but the setting was ignored.
How can I make this work? If I can't, I will have to return this switch.

I figured it out: you have to first enable 802.1Q instead of port-based. Then you can enter VLAN IDs.
