Hello; will a Gigabit SFP LC Single-Mode Transceiver, 1000BASE-LX Mini-GBIC Module work for the noted switch?

While Netgear does not restrict using 3rd party modules, Netgear does neither endorse or support it.

A switch SFP or SFP+ port does not care about the the media type. SX are for multi-mode optical fibers (62.5/125 μm, newer/better 50/125 μm - for short reach, typical wavelength 850 nm and 1300 nm) , LX are for single-mode optical fibers (9/125 µm - for long reach, typical wavelengths 1310 nm and 1550 nm). Fiber and modules (wavelength!) must match.
