JGS516PE: bricked after firmware upgrade

Hi,
Just got myself a used JGS516PE from Ebay to power my Raspberry Pi 4 cluster and I got myself into trouble... Step by step:
- Plugged it in, used ProSafe Plus Utility software to change its ip config to fit in my network;
- Got into the switch via the Web GUI with the new ip address and changed password;
- Then saw it was using old firmware and tried to install latest;
- Everything went fine as far as uploading and installing but then got stuck at "Rebooting" like forever...
- Powered down/up and now, nothing works... No light showing activity on ports and ProSafe Plus not finding any switches...
Did I brick the switch for good? Bummer...
Best regards

Hi,
Yes it did but I had to push the factory reset button longer than what iswritten in the manual... At least 10 seconds.
Best regards

Re: JGS516PE: bricked after firmware upgrade
Hi to all,
Ok, after contact with Netgear support, it works again but I had to do multiple factory default resets to make it so...
