Lost of three Port for some reason at times

New installed switch to replaced old version, have set up static IP address to switch and all other network devices by way or cisco rvs4000 router, switch has a static IP address, submask & gateway setup, label port config and enable ports. Problem is, after some time the first three ports seem to disable thenselves, that is lights not lit as well. I need to remove intranet cable from port 1 and connect to port 4 to address the switch and enable ports again, why and thanks

Hap

Current firmware? https://www.netgear.com/support/product/GS108Tv2.aspx Update, factory reset, and re-test.

Check the switch logs ...  Management -> Logs  ... there might be indications what makes the ports shut down.

Re: Lost of three Port for some reason at times

seems no one has an answer, tho many have viewed, not many users have a smart switch in use. would have hope someone from netgear would have responded, maybe being a holiday will need to wait a few days. the switch for now seems to be working, but there is always a bug in the works

Thanks, thought this was a Netgear Support Source, will review the firmware update before downloading, have review any pass issues- no results of my problem- devices has been working correctly for some time now since I started from the beginning once more yesterday- hoping this device will continue to work as needed.
