When installing an SFP to this switch, does the unit need to be shut down prior to install or can it be done while the unit is on and working? Would prefer not to have to shut down our network to install the SFP and wanted to check if it is "hot-swappable".
Also, I was reading another article on this switch that indicated it does not support copper SFP modules. The Hardware Installation guide for this model appears to support them. Wanted to confirm before installation. I am using the switch with the most recent firmware 6.0.10.5. Please confirm.
Thanks for your help.

The Gigabit PoE+ Smart Switches with Remote/Cloud Management GS728TPv2, GS728TPPv2, GS752TPv2, GS752TPP ... does clearly list the AGM734-10000S SFP Transceiver 1000BASE-T Copper RJ45 GBIC.
In general, SFP and SFP+ modules and thier fiber resp. copper links are hot-swapable
