What version of GS724T does not require JAVA?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if GS724Tv2 requires Java Runtime for its web interface?

I need a GS724T that works without Java but it seems that version 3 (GS724Tv3) onward DOES require it.

Unforunately, the online manual for GS724Tv2 appears to be a little too generic and points to the same one as GS724Tv1 as well as several other FSxxxT range switches so I can't trust that information...

Thanks,

E.

Hi E71,

I believe that Java runtime is not required in accessing the web-GUI of the GS724Tv2.

Re: What version of GS724T does not require JAVA?

I have the v3 and I would not say that Java is required. There is one page that doesn't work without Java, but the functions on this page can also be accessed using other non-Java tabs. Blinking lights using Java are nice, but not required.

I have a v4/400nas. Like poster above, one page, which I think is suposed to dispaly a visual of the switch" dosnt work, but its not needed, all settings and funtions are asseiclbe with out it.
