Where is link agregation hidden in GS308E ?

I bought a G308E because the Amazon description claimed it did link aggregation. Netgear press releases also state the same thing

https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2019/04/16/1804737/0/en/NETGEAR-Debuts-New-5-and-8-Port-S...

however, I can not find the setting in the web interface. Where is it hidden?

Fear you will be disappointed ...

Gigabit Smart Managed Plus Switch Series - Features says:

===

Traffic Management
...

  • Link Aggregation / Port Trunking (Static LAGs on 16 ports and 24 ports, Static LAGs and LACP on 48 ports)

===

Similar, the Gigabit Ethernet Smart Managed Plus Switches User Manual, p.51 ff.

===

Set Up Link Aggregation Groups
Note: Static link aggregation (port trunking) is supported on models GS116E, JGS516PE,
JGS524E, and JGS524PE.
...
Note: The switch does not support IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation or Link Aggregation
Control Protocol (LACP) groups but supports manual static LAGs only.
===

Whereas the second note above might look wrong - however the 48 port Smart Managed Plus models are covered in a dedicated manual.

@nim,

Welcome to the community! Smiley Happy

I inquired your concern to the higher tier of NETGEAR Support.  As per the higher tier of NETGEAR Support, Link Aggregation is NOT supported on the GS308E switch.  Also, about the incorrect information posted about the GS308E switch, it will be corrected.

Regards,
