which SFP module and fiber types are compatible with the GC 110 switch

Where can I find with SFP modules and which fiber types are compatible with the GC110 range of switches?

GC110, GC110P, GC510P, GC510PP Data Sheet p.17 does describe the (supported) modules:

However in the user manual there is a table where 10G is supported, but no sfp+ 10G is listed?

GC110P Eight PoE 10/100/1000Mbps ports
Two 10G/1G SFP+ ports

Looks like a mistakte to me - there are no SFP+/10G cabable ports on the GC110xx/GS510xx.

Also the firmware seems to block non Netgear branded modules (I tired some Netgear flashed BX-transceivers from FS.com an whyle they are recognised (otheres are just rejected) there is still no link-up detected by the switch.

10Gtek modules work fine with the GC110 models.

They are made of gold aparently (sigh!) - check the list prices for SFP and SFP+ modules with major brands like Cisco (or even Netgear) - the gold digging is still live.

And again, no, to my knowledge Netgear does not enforce a certain brand/model flashed on the modules for the SFP ports.

Unlucky to disucss this here in this thread where the OP mistakingly assumed SFP+ (10G) are workable based on the false information in the user manual.
