Cannot Access STORA when connecting from a domain joined computer

 

I can't say for sure what happened, I shifted to other ISP, and was forced to shift my WIFI Router, and I guess that it my problem, only one computer, which has has installed 'Netgear Stora ' application is able to access my NAS. 2 other pc's running WIN 10 cant access my MS2120, and soultion found elsewhere seems not to relate to WIN 10, as directions seem to be WIN7 / WIN8 .

All in all 3 pc's running WIN10 , router Netgear R6220.

1. Have you tried accessing the Stora using it's IP address via a browser?

2. Have you tried installing the Stora desktop application? If not, you may refer to the link below for the download.

1. Yes, several times with various PC's.

 

2. Yes it is installed on the primary PC, at this time not on the secindary PC's, but I have considered doing that.

Hi @Linnemann,

 

1. We're you able to access the Stora using the it's IP using the other PC's?

2. Can the PC's that aren't able to access the Stora ping it's IP?

3. Can the PC that can access the Stora ping the other PC's that can't access the Stora?

4. Do you have a static IP set on the Stora?

5. Please try installing the Stora software on the PC's that can't access it and see if the issue persists.

5, done, and I'm still unable to access it,

 

My next question could be, is there some Windows Defender / Firewall setup that blocks the access, because it also blocks access to a HP Wifi printer.  So problem may be in an update from WIN10 that should be disabled.

Hi @Linnemann,

 

That is a possibility. You may try disabling any security software/program on the PC's that aren't able to access the Stora. Also, please try using DHCP for the Stora instead of setting a static IP as an isolation step.
