Factory reset and folder name are local names and not accessible
ok this happened to me to today.
I just factory reset my 3 year old STORA and now all folder names are
Familjens bibliotek
Mina Datorer
Mitt Bibliotek
Yes I have a Swedish computer and the folder names use to be the english equivalent.
Now win7 explorer show this folders but no way to open them.
I about to go buy another NAS if this cannot be fixed

Re: Factory reset and folder name are local names and not accessible
Do a reflash again, but select English as the stora language.

Re: Factory reset and folder name are local names and not accessible
thanks but seriously there is no place to select english after a factory reset. I have done the reset two times now. Another funny thing is that my Samsung 46" tv show empty folders when built in tv-media player browse the STORA.

I forgot about the DMA, ok selecting to share folders using DMA, made the 46" tv see the files.

Forget Windows Explorer for the moment; take a web browser and launch www.mystora.com
then log in with your storaname and your existing user+pw
To recover your data, recreate the same user accounts.

Re: Factory reset and folder name are local names and not accessible
That worked kind of, I unticked and ticked the box "let user access family folder" and now the Win7 Network folder
Familjens bibliotek (\\STORA)
is accessible and inside it I have FamilyVideos, FamilyMusic and FamilyDocuments.
There are still two folder that I cannot open:
Mina datorer (\\STORA)
Mitt bibliotek (\\STORA)

Re: Factory reset and folder name are local names and not accessible
If you don't see any contents, you probably looking with another username than the previous documents are uploaded with. So in order to see the contents of the (standard) Subfolder names \MyLibrary and \MyDocuments you need to log in with the username with which the documents are Stora.
Look in the section of your store where you have your accounts registered. How many do you see?
You can check the above with creating a new account and log in with that new account and compare the outcome.

Re: Factory reset and folder name are local names and not accessible
I had the same problem after a hard reset. Instead of setting up the stora with a web browser, i downloaded and used the Netgear setup tool. There it's possible to chose the language you originally used on the stora, and avoid this problem.
