MS200 Can't see files

Hi,

This morning for some reason we are not able to see the files on the stora, can see the stora, can even log into it, however we can't see any files.

The hard drive is OK (tested that)

Any suggestions on how to get the data off the d

rive?

My IT department at work couldn't load the file system as they mounted the drive - but needed a password that I did not know.

Any ideas / help appreciated

Hard drives are in software raid (mdadm) and itself file system on them is XFS. Any recent LiveCD/LiveDVD Linux distro can do the job:

Pull the drives from unit, conect them to your PC, boot from Live media (Ubuntu 16.04 live is a good candidate) and copy your files to Windows drive(s). If unit was setup as JBOD you can connect drives one by one, if it was on RAID1 (mirror) you can use only one of drives, if it was setup as RAID0 (stripe) you will need to connect both drives.
