MS2000 not hard reseting

Hi everybody,

Some days ago my NAS stopped being available on the network..I have tried everything from forum, nothing happened..I suppose that I need to restore firmware as I tried hard reset and blue light is on whereas HDD leds blinking together so no possible to download firmware according to community..

Is there a solution for that? I suppose that my NAS is bricked..

Probably because I believe that there is a reson for that. If you do not like that way, you can always try to find alternative route, or develop it from scratch (It's took me 11 days to made it + roughly additional 15 for automation scripts, clearing script errors and so on).

It seems, that I have same problem. I perform a hard reset procedure, but it finishes always with error - power LED is on and both HDDLED1 and HDDLED2 are flashing.

How did you solve that problem?

I made VM with recovery environment and made several custom scripts for that environment to blindly restore flash. They are far from the perfection and that's the reason that I do not want them to be share freely in public.

Hello,

Check your PMs. Follow instructions from PM.

You will need to have 64bit OS and CPU with 64bit architecture and Virtualization technology support. Virtualization support should be enabled in BIOS. Later I will migrate on 32bit so it will run either on 32 or 64 bits.
