my stora in jbod configuration, recently got bricked by a thunderstorm. I bought a second hand stora, which I moved my hardrives into. but dont know how to access my data?
Note I do not know what stora name and user was setup on the second hand stora. It does show up on my network as simply stora, I do have the product key, any help ?
Register it with Key and name from dead unit. As long as there are no two units online with same key and stora name, it will be OK. Key and Name aren't bound to particular hardware/unit. Just make sure that you will reset unit instead of recovering firmware. Resetting to factory defaults is done from FULLY BOOTED AND POWERED ON UNIT! (i.e. with all releveant leds lit and not blinking).
