can't find stora at all

Hello,

My PC (win8.1) or router (WNR3500L) can't find the IP of my stora (ms2110-100NAS)

- I did a reset but and tried the setup software with no luck. The setup can't find any IP.

- Also theres a message is: You will not be able to reach your Stora until you set your preferences. but there's only two options: Update and Keep desktop mirror running in background.

- Top LED keeps flashing blue, over and over

I think the hard restet wiped the IP.  I've done this with no luck https://community.netgear.com/t5/Stora-Legacy/Hard-reset-your-Stora-How-To-amp-QA/td-p/323184

So I can't see the stora UPnP in win8.1 explorer network. Can't find stora via firefox. Can't find stora via stora agent.

Made much progress in viewing my stora.

Tried the hard reset agian. This time paid more attention to the first 15 seconds step.

I now can see the stora UPnP in win8.1 and can login to the stora via "stora agent' software.

But all my files are gone from "my comuter" folder.

Using the same UI and PW I can not login in via firefox or IE. Dose not like password.

So I reset the password via stora setup but still same thing.

any ideas?

Ok, can now login via firefox, a pc reboot helped that.

But still no files in my comuper folder.

BUT in preferances it shows there are 514mb used. that's the correct amout.

SO maybe there's still hope.

How can I mount/get to that part of the harddrive?

Another system reboot (PC and stroa) and now can't login from anyware,

win7: window explorer, EI, FF or stroa agent

or

win8.1: window explorer, EI, FF or stroa agent

Please try re-mapping your Stora.

Remove Stora from the network, restart your computer and re-map your Stora: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/19864/~/how-to-map-a-network-drive-%28-xp,-vista,-win-...

When the Stora is connected via LAN, you may also access it through netbios

When you do a hard reset and/or reflash you must use exactly the same details as before. This includes Storaname, Username and language preferences.

once you have this, remap the drives and all should be well.
