A7000 Software not compatible with MacBook
I'm trying to load the software for the A7000 adapter and it crashes on the MacBook Pro. Is there a fix for this?

You mean the installer crashes?
The bad news is that Netgear seems to be a version or two behind the versions of MacOS.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
WiFi Adapters - NETGEAR Communities
You might like to search there for messages related to your problem.
I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Yes, the installer crashes at the last few seconds of the install. Tried everything on the website, which is pretty lacking in any real solutions, and have a call into tech support. Thanks.

Not sure how much movement you'll see as this has been going on for a while.
Macs change quite a bit between versions and it breaks compatibility. Makes it a challenge to keep install drivers updated.

Odd, unbelievable and probably wrong. No one has complained about failures in Windows.
For a couple of years now people have complained that Netgear has not developed drivers for recent versions of MacOS. Now they have thrown in a new excuse.

Not sure about mac's but for windows thats a load of garbage. I have 2x wireless cards in my desktop right now for testing purposes. And I've had a built in on a laptop that I plugged a USB card into. With stock software, it doesn't allow "2x the speed" but you can have them both connected. It'll only use one at a time and revert to the other if one disconnects/is disabled.

Again, thats mac. Not sure about mac as I'm a windows guy.
Also, not sure if you actually talked to netgear support. Many people google for support and get scam/con sites. Netgear charges for support after 90 days so if it was a "free" call, I'd be suspicions of talking to netgear.

Re: A7000 Software not compatible with MacBook
I get the impression that Netgear is abandoning the adapter market.
It certainly offers next to nothing in that category on its own retail site.
