A8000 not working in USB 3.2 Gen1 port
Hello everyone, I recently purchased the a8000 to improve my PC's wifi speed. I was just checking through my devices and it said that I can get faster speeds if I plug it into a usb 3.0 port. However, when I do this the adapter no longer is recognized and doesn't show up at all. My pc only has USB 3.2 Gen1 ports or usb 2.0 and it only works in the USB 2.0 ports. Any solutions or is this device not compatible with my USB Ports?

You may need to find newer USB drivers for your anonymous PC. That may be down to chips at the motherboard level. Windows update may not find those.
This is beyond Netgear's control.
While USB 3 might be faster than USB 2, it isn't likely to result in the significant speed gain boasted.
