What tells you this? A Windows popup? A browser?

Can your devices connect to them?

Tried Windows troubleshooting options
The network troubleshooter?
My first guess is that you need to tell Windows that you are on a "private network".
- Network and Internet settings
- Network Status
- Change Connection Properties
- Network Profile
- Private
I am told by some people here that this is rubbish, but others have tried it and this move worked for me.
- scotw08Mar 30, 2020AspirantWhat tells me there are no networks to connect to is my network and internet settings. Yes troubleshooter I ran was for network and also tried network reset. Think you’re correct that poodle is set to public not private but I can’t seem to access option to change it to private. I’ve tried “set up new connection or network” option in Network and Sharing Center with no success. Troubleshooter keeps indicated its adapter or access point problem.

- scotw08Apr 03, 2020AspirantI am looking at “Show available networks” via following path:
Settings
Network & Internet
Status
Network status
Not connected to any networks
⚠️ Troubleshoot
Show available networks
Change your network settings
Since there are no networks to connect to “Change connection properties” is not shown as it normally would be right before “Show available networks” option. As such the “Network profile” tab isn’t available because there are no networks to profile. Hence I can’t change the profile from “public” to “private.”
