GS605 Unmanaged Switch not working
So, I have an Arris NVG599 router (i know, im sorry) and I was getting a red light from the WiFi router when I plugged the 5 port Desktop Gigabit Ethernet switch into an ethernet plug. I dont know if this happens on other routers too, but I was wondering if it is only compatible with Netgear routers.

Re: GS605 Unmanaged Switch not working
There shouldn't be any compatiblity issues.
But it could be a cable/port issue.
Have you tried different ports on the router/switch and a different cable?

Re: GS605 Unmanaged Switch not working
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers about your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:
Switches - NETGEAR Communities
Smart / Plus / Click Switches - NETGEAR Communities
Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.
My network DM200 -> R7800 -> GS316 -> PL1000 -> Orbi RBR40 -> Orbi RBS50Y -> RBS40V
