Netgear AC6210 WiFi Adapter 5 GHz not working
Hi, this post is aimed towards customer care. I have my netgear wifi adapter since october 2018 and its been working great! I like it a lot. However about a month ago i noticed it would no longer connect to my 5GHz wifi where it always used to. After trying almost everything I could find on the internet and even using on another computer with another 5GHZ wifi connection it still doesnt connect so i have to assume its partially dead as the 2.4 GHz works good. My biggest problem in all this is trying to contact netgear support (im based in Ireland). I rang the number provided, doesnt work.. also i could find no email to contact them with and now this seems to be the only place i can find to leave this in the hope that someone from the support team contacts me. I have to say this has been the worst customer service experience for me so far. To say I am frustrated at this point is an understatement.

You have a problem that you need fixing?
Try this place.
The way to get official support is through MyNetgear.
Register the product and start a support request. Netgear gave up on phone support some time ago.

Re: Netgear AC6210 WiFi Adapter 5 GHz not working
Thanks for you reply, however I have tried this route but they only give me a phone number and no other way of contacting them and the phone number says out of service when i try ring it. I will never buy from Netgear again and I will be advising anyone against buy from them with customer service being so bad.

Re: Netgear AC6210 WiFi Adapter 5 GHz not working
OK. Let's try again.
What is the problem you are trying to fix?
I assume that it is something to do with an A6210 USB Adapter. (Your subject says AC6210).
There is a manual and other stuff for the A6120 somewhere at the end of this link:
>>>> A6210 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<<
Please do not come back and tell us that you are trying to contact Netgear support.
Had you stated the issue to begin with, you might have fixed it weeks ago.

Re: Netgear A6210 WiFi Adapter 5 GHz not working
Hi thanks for taking the time to reply,
Yes sorry my mistake that was a typo, it is indeed the A6210 USB adapter.
The main issue is already described in my first post.. I appreciate your help, however there is no need to be a smart ass by saying: "Had you stated the issue to begin with, you might have fixed it weeks ago."
This is not a driver issue or a problem with my computer! This is a hardwear issue!
I have tried compatible drivers, windows drivers and netgear drivers along with different versions of these drivers.
I have tried using this on fresh install of win 10 (same build version that it used to work on perfectly with latest netgear driver before it suddenly stopped as I thought perhaps a windows update caused the issue), win 7 and linux.
I have tried using this on different computers, connecting to 5GHz wifi on several DIFFERENT routers, I have tried tweeking settings and such with the adapter and router along with other things and I can never get it to work on 5GHz wifi anymore. I have to assume at this point that it is faulty and needs to be replaced under warranty.
Which brings me back to trying to contact netgear support to which you tell me "Please do not come back and tell us that you are trying to contact Netgear support." Well what do you expect me to do? I need support with replacing my faulty adapter and nobody can provide me with an email address.
The link you shared with me only brings me through the same process I have tried a few times and I only get a phone number to contact at the end. I try to ring it and it tells me it is no longer in service. As for the user guides and documentation/manual, they have no solution to this issue either.
So to summarize, the biggest problem I am trying to fix is NOT my wifi adapter as I KNOW it is faulty, its trying to get in contact with someone about returning my faulty adapter under warranty. I really DO appreciate help from who ever is willing to help me on this matter however, I dont need someone to be a cheeky smart ass in their response as it doesnt help anybody to be like that!
So unless you can provide me with an email address for support then you are unable to help me solve my main problem as clearly outlined in my first post.
