setup issues with a6100

im attempting to set up my new ac600 and whenever i run the standalone installer, it comes up with error 1628, any ideas as to what i may need to do? 

Im on windows 10, latest version

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

     

    Is this your first attempt to install the A6100 driver? Kindly go to Control Panel > Programs / Programs and Feature > look for NETGEAR A6100 and uninstall driver.

        I am having exactly the same issue, can I ask what you did to fix this problem.  #frustrated!!!!
