Have A GS605 Netgear Switch that wont connect through VOIP
I have the switch plugged into the wall port with a CAT6 cable, and am unable to get it to power up 2 VOIP phones. I can get it to connect to the computers and laptops through the switch, but when it comes to these phones, they do not get detected through the switch and the lights never come on. I am unable to plug the switch into a modem/router because they are some feet away unable to be directly plugged, any suggestions?

Re: Have A GS605 Netgear Switch that wont connect through VOIP
Not sure we understand the exact set-up. One wall port does serve as an uplink to the internal network or the Internet router, and the GS605 does connect up to five more devices, where two are VoIP phones which should be PoE powered.
The GS605 does not offer any PoE capabilities, so impossible to power two PoE powered VoIP phones.
