JGS524 ProSafe 24-port Gigabit Switch Failure

We've a couple of these switches installed, each serving an area and the two connected together.  Two days ago the inter-switch connection stopped working.  This switch looked ok at first glance, with all the connected port LEDs illuminated.  It was only on removing it and powering it on the bench (nothing connected) that we observed the LEDs for ports 1, 2, 13 and 14 came on.  Does anyone know if this is indicative of a particular fault, and if so is it recoverable?

It seems that you are having issues with your JGS524. I suggest you to open a chat / case online on NETGEAR support and let them know the status of your switch. If ever the device is still under warranty, an online replacement will be provided.
