Ms108UP Cascading / daisy-chaining to MS105

Will cascading/ daisy-chaining MS108UP to MS105 work for non-POE devices? Using MS108UP run WAX630E in a small office and want to run MS105 to a desk with a hardwired desktop computet and hardwired printers.

Yes, thanks to the IEEE standardized PoE implementation (to differentiate from these passive PoE systems), there is a strict negotiation: IEEE (802.3af aka. PoE, 802.3at aka. PoE+, and 802.3bt aka. PoE++) PoE PD (powered devices) explicitly request power from the PoE PSE (power source equipment).

Without this negotiation or handshake, no PoE power is ever enabled on a port - so it's  very safe thing. So yes, you can add eg. a MS105 to a PoE switch like a MS108[E]|[T]UP, and connect any kind of generic Ethernet devices.
