Do you need PoE In your Business?

What is PoE, you ask? Well, it stands for Power-Over-Ethernet, which means that just by using one Ethernet cable, you can supply both the network connectivity AND the power to run the PD (powered device). What this means for PoE-enabled devices like wireless access points, IP cameras, security door locks, etc, is that you won’t need to have a separate power supply and outlet nearby to install those devices; just run an Ethernet cable to them from a PoE switch, and you’re done!
