6.9.2 performance hit?
Now that 6.9.2 has been released with the meltdown fix, has anyone noticed any decrease in performance? My main NAS is used for Plex and transcode a good amount of the time, so a 20-25% hit would be rough.

Re: 6.9.2 performance hit?
Or is the CPU performance decrease more of a Spectre patch issue than Meltdown patch issue?

Re: 6.9.2 performance hit?
For transcoding the Meltdown patch should make almost no difference.

Re: 6.9.2 performance hit?
Before I upgrade from 6.9.1 to 6.9.2;
Does the Meltdown bug fix will have preformance decrease on other processes ?
I have an RN104 and that's not that high preformance machine, so every % decrease is not that welcome 😉
Only running Squeezebox server.

Re: 6.9.2 performance hit?
The RN104 is not listed as an affected product so the Meltdown fix should be disabled for the RN104 and thus have no impact on the performance of the RN104
