8Gb Memory Upgrade for Readynas Pro 6
Hi everyone,
I found the illusive 8Gb kit of DDR2 Ram that should do the trick on a Readynas Pro 6.
The reference is “samsung m378t5263az3-cf7”
Any ideas/comments/experience on this memory being used on a ReadyNAS?
Thanks for any input!

Re: 8Gb Memory Upgrade for Readynas Pro 6
Frankly, unless you are doing some heavy-duty transcoding, running VM's, or some such, I doubt you'll see any improvement over 4GB. But let us know what you find.
I have seen some of the right kind of memory popping up on eBay recently at a not ridiculous price. I guess the demand has dropped a lot. I don't think the supply has changed much.
