AFP sets incorrect permissions on Readynas 6.1.4

Env: Readynas 6.1.4
AFP shares

Steps:
* Create a group with some users
* Create share with specific permissions - RW for the created group, and no access to anyone else
* Mount AFP as a user in this group (UserA), and go to the share
* Create a folder in the share (NewFolder)
* Log out
* Log in as a different user in the group (UserB)
* Attempt to write something into the NewFolder

The problem is that NewFolder is owned by UserA. This should not generally be a problem, but AFP prompts for a password to write into this folder. SMB/CIFS do NOT have the same problem. So connecting via SMB works fine.

Seems like this is a problem with AFP for all restricted access folders.

I have the exact same problem...did you manage to find a solution? I am having to constantly reset permissions on the share so my clients to read and write to the folders.
