Admin Page is Offline + System volume 'root' usage is 100 %
Hi,
For some days, I can no access at my configuration web page.
I have the web page :
We are running firmware 6.4.1
My ReadyNAS is used as like a files server. I always have access to my shares. But after a while time, my users lose their access and I have to restart my READYNAS.
I also noticed that my root space was full.
I didn't find any folder too big. I looked for every folder without find.
I didn't know why the 'root' was at 100% and why configuration web page doesn't work.
Could you please help me ?

There could be some files "under" one of the mount points - /home or /apps for instance. It is possible to remount them, so you can examine those folders.
To see what's underneath you'd enter
mount --bind / /mnt
Then look in /mnt/home, etc
When done,
umount /mnt

Re: Admin Page is Offline + System volume 'root' usage is 100 %
I am thinking there was collateral damage when the root usage it 100%. Though the volume is no longer full, the collateral damage remains.
I'd back up the data first. Then perhaps try an OS reinstall to see if that repairs the damage. If it doesn't, then you'd need to do a factory reset, rebuild the NAS and restore the data from the backup.
