I'm wondering if I have already setup as dual redundacy.
My type is set to RAID 6 and i have 5 x 4TB drives in and 10.9TB combined used and free space.
This leads me to beleive that I might have already setup dual redundancy, but I can't remember every doing that. LOL maybe my past self was thinking ahead. 🙂

Yes.
RAID-6 is a dual-redundant RAID level.
If you are using X-RAID2 then it would be X-RAID2 dual-redundancy and can expand when an empty drive bay is filled or when four higher capacity disks have been added (add one disk at a time, wait for the array to rebuild before adding the next disk).
