Re: Amazon Drive sync skips some files

hi @mrQQ!

I don't think this will be fixed on the NAS side; Amazon drive limits the filename to contain any special characters which in this case "-" and "+" are part of the list. You will have to rename the filenames before the upload can be possible.

Here is a link regarding that information Amazon Incompatible File names

Hope this helps!

- and + are not part of the list, unless you're seeing something I am not. This is further proven by the fact that I can upload those files without any issues using web browser.

Re: Amazon Drive sync skips some files

Hi @mrQQ

You are correct, my apologies on not being able to check right away. The NAS do not sync files that start with +- signs but will upload it through the Web browser.

ReadyNAS will sync files with any compatible special characters as long as it does not include the +- signs at the beginning of the filename. I tested this using RN104 on OS 6.9.0

I will try to inquire this with support and post an update once we have feedback.

Hi @mrQQ

I would suggest logging a case with NETGEAR Support through Phone or Chat so they can check on this issue and escalate if needed. Higher tier experts might need to check on this.

It's on the System->Overview page in the web admin ui, so it's right in front of you when you log into it.
