Any update to RAIDiator 4.2.27 coming?

hi,

I've a:

Model: ReadyNAS Pro 6 [X-RAID2]
Serial: 2H051BRJ00207
Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.27

our network people did a security scan and reported that:

"According to its version, the remote Unix operating system is obsolete and is no longer maintained by its vendor or provider.
Lack of support implies that no new security patches for the product will be released by the vendor. As a result, it is likely to contain security vulnerabilities."

I'm curious to know if any update in the works.

thanks,

-robert

You should have posted your concern on http://www.readynas.com/forum/

However, there is a Beta FW v4.2.28 for the REadyNAS OS 4 series. Check this link: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=70385

Re: Any update to RAIDiator 4.2.27 coming?

I'm quite confused with your question regarding the update, 4.2.27 has already been released. (and your device info shows that you are already using it)

http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/25755/~/raidiator-x86-version-4.2.27

This product has been EOL but I still see some beta's being developed.

Check here:

Latest beta:

and btw, you canm also post at http://www.readynas.com/forum/
where you can get more answers.
