Backing up ReadyNAS with RAIDiator 4 to external hard drive connected to Windows 7 Pro PC

When creating a backup job on my ReadyNAS (RN) unit - I am experiencing an error with not being able to connect to my PC running Windows 7 Professional PC.

Here is my setup:

1. Both units are on the same network and connected to the same switch via ethernet cable

2. RN is ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer (RNPP) running RAIDiator 4.2.30

3. Windows PC is named: OPTIMUS7

4. External hard drive is connected to the PC as e: drive

5. I created a test backup folder called: e:\backups-test\

6. Both e:  and  backups-test  are set to Share with Everyone (Read and Write)

7. As a test, I am using RNPP's share named: TTTT

8. I wish to use Rsync protocol

9. IP's of RNPP and PC are 192.168.1.100 and 101, respectively

Here are my RN's backup settings:

When I run the backup, it gets timed out with the follow Prompt:

Error encountered copying data from source path /TTTT/ ==> OPTIMUS7::backups-test due to unknown reason.  Please see log. [Job 014]
[Tue Oct  4 19:41:45 PDT 2016]

The following is from the log:

INCREMENTAL Backup started. Tue Oct  4 19:38:35 PDT 2016

Job: 014
Protocol: rsync
Source: [TTTT]/
Destination: OPTIMUS7::backups-test

rsync: failed to connect to OPTIMUS7 (192.168.1.101): Connection timed out (110)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(122) [sender=3.0.9]

Backup failed. Tue Oct  4 19:41:45 PDT 2016.

Reason for failure:
Error encountered copying data from source path /TTTT/ ==> OPTIMUS7::backups-test due to unknown reason.  Please see log.

I have tried the following:
1) changed the Host: and Path: names several ways.  Two (of many) examples are:

\\OPTIMUS     e/backups-test

OPTIMUS    //e/backups-test

etc...

2) Using another device connected to the same network, I am able to see all the contents of the share:  backups-test

3) Clicking the Test Connection button from the backup settings page, and it times out after a while

4) Turned off Windows Firewall for the Home or Private Network then Clicking the Test Connection button from the backup settings page immediately gives the following Prompt:

Error connecting to OPTIMUS7

And the log says:

INCREMENTAL Backup started. Tue Oct  4 19:59:28 PDT 2016

Job: 014
Protocol: rsync
Source: [TTTT]/
Destination: OPTIMUS7::backups-test

rsync: failed to connect to OPTIMUS7 (192.168.1.101): Connection refused (111)
rsync error: error in socket IO (code 10) at clientserver.c(122) [sender=3.0.9]

Backup failed. Tue Oct  4 19:59:28 PDT 2016.

Reason for failure:
Error encountered copying data from source path /TTTT/ ==> OPTIMUS7::backups-test due to unknown reason.  Please see log.

If you want to use Rsync you need to be running Rsync on the PC.

One option is to get DeltaCopy and to replace Rsync and other Linux binaries in the Deltacopy folder with the latest ones from Cygwin.
