Backup NAS duo to Offisite NAS duo

Hi,

Ive been trying to setup a backup from a ReadyNAS Duo on local network
to another ReadyNAS Duo that is on a seperate offsite network.

I was just wondering what is the best method to do this. i.e.
website, FTP, etc.

I am able to do the initial backup via USB HD. so just need an incrimental
backup say once a week.

If this has been covered else where please point me in the right direction as ive not found what i need

Usually, I would recommend rsync. Do you have any way to transfer the data securely, like over VPN?

The modem of the offsite readynas doesnt allow VPN,
is there another way to do it? e.g. FTP

I do have a 3rd party modem i could use lying around doing nothing at the moment, but this would be my 'last resort' as ive tried setting it up,
for some reason my ISP likes to block any modem other than there own.

Rsync would be the best way to do it. You can do it without VPN as long as you understand the security implications.
