Backup issues with ReadyNAS 524X

Backup issues with ReadyNAS 524X
We've got some backups going from this NAS to another identical NAS over a VPN. All permissions are set properly and the 'Test' connection button shows all is good. However I keep getting the following error in the log during backups;
Destination is read-only or files/folders could not be created. Check if these files or folders meet the destination file system limitation.
I've confirmed over and over the the user account used for the backups has full access. We do have a second backup job with all the exact same settings yet for a different folder and they're all auccessful all the time.

Did you try going into the file access tab of the destination share settings, and resetting the file permissions (using the RESET control on the left) ?

I hadn't but I did just now and restarted the job. I'll report back later with an update.
