Backup job creates ISO file on USB target device

Trying to resolve an unexpected backup result. I'm using Frontview on the ReadyNAS 3200 v1 [X-RAID2], Firmware: RAIDiator 4.2.27. I've created a few jobs so far and get the expected result. But, there is one that I can't figure out:

Job001 is from an iSCSI target named "iso" to a share on a connected USB storage device.

The "iso" iSCSI target is mounted as a datastore on VMware. This datastore contains several ISO images and a few VMware template VM's. In all, there are about 10 ISO images and another 15 or so files related to VMware templates.

The USB device (USB_HDD_1) has two partitions. The share (USB_HDD_1_2) was created on the 2nd partition which is configured as NTFS.

Backup Job001 runs and completes, but only creates 2 files on the USB device:

iso~0 (about 600GB)
iso~0.conf (about 1k)

Here is the job log:

FULL Backup started. Fri Jan 30 16:49:20 EST 2015

Job: 001
Protocol: local
Source: [iso~0]/
Destination: [USB_HDD_1_2]//BU_ISO

`iso~0' -> `/USB_HDD_1_2//BU_ISO/iso~0'

Backup finished. Fri Jan 30 23:20:53 EST 2015

Any idea what is happening?
