Can I send a wake command before the backup starts?
Backups are done via Rsync on all local Windows units to the RN-Duo, and I can wake all the local PCs via "WhoCares?" WOL addon from the Duo. (Thanks Stefan!)
Is there a way that I can generate the wake command automatically, before the backup jobs initiate each time?
Many thanks for any feedback.

Re: Can I send a wake command before the backup starts?
Create a cron script e.g. /etc/cron.d/wakemypcs with entries scheduled shortly before those in /etc/cron.d/frontview-backup
Of course you need to allow more than enough time for the PC to be ready for the backup before a backup job is run.
Your cron script should either refer to another script that executes the wake command or if you just need a one line command you could put the wake command in the cron script itself.
