Can no longer write to External USB drive on ReadyNAS 314
I Can no longer write to External USB drive on ReadyNAS 314. Using version 6.2.4, and I have had a 4TB drive hooked up for a year now without problems. Even in the Shares tab I cannot delete, cut, no...
.... And I did. Re-booting the PC allowed me to access, create, etc. The Mac did not require it.

Sounds like the filesystem on the USB disk may have been marked as dirty and hence it has gone read-only. You could connect the USB disk up to a PC and repair it using that.
Thank you. That allowed me to edit existing files, and to delete from "FrontView". However, I can no longer create folders, nor files from the PC. However, the Mac can do it. I will pursue this more later.
