Recently changed authentication to Active Directory
Would like to disable guest/anonymous access to the shares which existed prior to updates and changes. Want to only allow authenticated AD users to access the shares.
Anytime anonymous access is removed from the permissions, at any point, AD account cannot reach the share. Even with Everyone group enabled at read-write, or a specific user enabled with read-write, or a group of which the user is a member.
I've been working with the SMB network and file access settings.
The user and group is listed in the Accounts section.
