Can't connect using host name in Win 7
I've just got a Pro having previously being using an NV+ without access problems.
I have a very frustrating problem of only being able to connect in Win 7 using the IP address, if I try using the hostname it denies me access. I was using the NV+ in share mode which appears to be no longer an option.
Advice on how to get this working would be appreciated.

Re: Can't connect using host name in Win 7
I've just realised this appears to be caused by me setting the hostname to the same as I was using for the NV+. However the NV+ is no longer connected to the network and I would like to use this particular hostname.
I assume I need to clear the previously used hostname somewhere in windows 7 but I don't know where, any ideas?

Maybe try rebooting your router, and the windows 7 system.
