Cannot Access Admin Page

Hi all
i uninstalled an app from my readynas 104 and now i cannot access my admin page. "refused to connect" i do not have ssh access and the box is still on the original firmware 6.2.2 i think and i purchased it on 10/Sep/2014. After hours and hours of searching it seems i have been caught by the old firmware bug when uninstalling an app. I read on other posts, it can be fixed by Netgear using telnet to update the old firmware, but i do not have any warranty left and cannot afford to purchase support. Could anybody PLEASE,PLEASE, help me by either telling me how to do it or if anyone has a different solution i would be very grateful.

The problem has been fixed now, by remote login and updating the firmware. i dont know how to mark as solved?

The problem has been fixed now, by remote login and updating the firmware. i dont know how to mark as solved?
