Cannot access Frontview on Readynas Duo
Readynas Duo appears to be working: Automatic backups and file syncs all appear to be working correctly and I can access the data stored on the device. The problem is I cannot access Frontview with Raidar. The Readynas is listed with all parameters correct, including info: 4.1.14 but clicking Settings gives error message: "There was a problem sending the command to the program".
I tried rebooting both the Readynas and the windows 7 PC to no effect and I tried re-installing the Readynas OS, again to no effect.
Is there any way to resolve this short of a reset to factory default?

Re: Cannot access Frontview on Readynas Duo
Can you access Frontview without RAIDar? https://nasipaddress/admin
You can factory default, but before we go there we should figure out if this is a PC issue or a NAS issue.

Re: Cannot access Frontview on Readynas Duo
Hi StephenB,
Many thanks for your reply that I have only now seen - I was expecting notification by email but I might have omitted to tick the relevant box!
I decided to restore factory default settings and, despite the massive disruption, that resolved the problem.
