Cannot access RN10400 NAS
windows 7, FW 6.1.9, message "Connection Lost". Now unable to update FW. MS expolorer connects easily though, and RAIDar succeeds browsing. But system fails to get connected: "Device is Offline". This seems a contradiction. Please help me out. TX!

Re: Cannot access RN10400 NAS
This would suggest that the management service is offline. This could happen for a variety of reasons especially on very old firmware such as the one you are running which is a couple of years old.

Re: Cannot access RN10400 NAS
TX mdgm!
From your answer I learn that I am in a loophole. Am I correct?
The problem might arise from old firmware and as such blocks the updating process.....
Any suggestion as to how to solve this?

Re: Cannot access RN10400 NAS
Did you get my PM?
It's possible you may have run into something that's been addressed in newer firmware but it would be impossible to tell without looking at your system as the firmware you are running is too old to be able to download logs using RAIDar when the management service is offline.

I regret I am not aware of the PM.

Re: Cannot access RN10400 NAS
Disk 3 is bad.
dmesg is getting flooded with errors regarding this disk.
